Themers are the people (and sometimes groups of people) who make themes. If you treat them like crap/release machines, then they'll likely want to drop out of the community and either pursue other interests or make all their releases private.

For the sake of the community, please don't treat themers as if they owe you anything. Much like yourself, themers are human and they have obligations that take precedence over making StepMania look pretty.
